Enjoy a mini-treatment on us!

The working group, ‘Shiatsu Federation of Canada’ extends a special invitation to anyone who works at Metro Hall, or who is just passing through.
For the professionals who will volunteer their time and skills for the day, Shiatsu Wellness Day opens up the opportunity to enlighten people about Shiatsu; a hugely beneficial practice that is growing in popularity and yet is still often misunderstood.
Shiatsu, the Japanese method of finger pressure therapy, has been an integral part of Toronto culture for over 40 years. In fact, many of the ‘founding fathers’ of our profession, and their students, work right here in Canada’s largest metropolis.
Shiatsu is a highly effective, non- invasive therapy. It treats a wide range of conditions including: chronic pain, injury, stress/nervousness, low energy, stiffness/reduced mobility, emotional/mood disorders, post traumatic stress, insomnia, headache/migraine, anger/worry/anxiety, digestive problems, post operative care, pregnancy/labour/post-partum care, etc.
Professional members of the various Shiatsu associations are currently working in collaboration to create a Shiatsu Federation. We aim to educate the public about this profound healing modality, and its incredible viability as a wellness option. Our forming Shiatsu Federation of Canada embraces several styles of  professional Shiatsu and we will be providing complimentary mini-treatments throughout the day.
